Himanshu has been a huge part of Hobfit’s journey. He built an excellent mobile app and platform foundation for us, moved fast with real ownership, and consistently turned product ideas into shipped reality. Seeing Hobfit reach Shark Tank India with such a strong tech backbone in place says a lot about the quality of his work.
What people I’ve worked with say about me.
Notes from founders, technical leaders, and friends whose trust means more to me than any generic recommendation ever could.
Even as an intern, Himanshu stood out as exceptional. He brought seriousness, curiosity, and the kind of execution you normally expect from someone much further along in their career. He was the kind of person you notice early, and I sincerely hope he keeps doing exceptional things wherever he goes next.
I still remember the time when our Vice Chancellor wanted a new university website built with modern technology and led entirely by students. The first student who came to my mind was Himanshu Saini. He was the only one I trusted to lead that project, build the team, and deliver an end-to-end website with modern features and one of the best user experiences among government university websites. His work on jcboseust.ac.in is truly commendable.
Himanshu completed two minor semester projects under my guidance, and both times he came up with genuinely innovative ideas. His ability to think out of the box and solve real problems using code is highly commendable. His first project was a digital QR-based ID card concept for the university, addressing the need for students to carry physical ID cards, and it even received an innovation award. His second project was an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot available 24/7 to assist users, built even before the rise of LLMs and ChatGPT, which says a lot about his vision and forward-thinking mindset.
Himanshu is the kind of friend you meet once in a lifetime. He has always been incredibly helpful whenever I got stuck in technical projects, and he was one of the pillars behind the growth and confidence that later helped me crack Google and Amazon.
Himanshu is the kind of guy you can always spot in university doing something productive. I always saw him with a laptop open in the classroom, VS Code on screen, building projects or hacking on ideas. I have rarely met anyone else with that level of optimism for tech and belief in what is possible.
